Buzz Lightyear is the theme this year for our Grandson’s birthday, so I made this card for his party tomorrow. I ended up downloading a picture of Buzz Lightyear from the internet (a free download) which is an image intended as a CD cover. I shrunk the image down to use for the card and then added the 2 layers of scalloped circles for color and interest. I thought the card needed a bit of shimmer and texture, so I enhanced the background paper by stamping with a cluster of stars stamp and embossing with clear ep. The card is larger than I generally make but I thought it looked too scrunched up if I made it the standard size. This card measures 5 x 7 1/2″.

I’m in the process of making a few other extra special projects for our Granddaughter’s First Communion next month. I’m making a rosary (which is my first attempt at this kind of project) and I’m also making her veil. When both are completed I’ll share pics of those projects with y’all.
In the meantime, have a great day and thanks for visiting.
