Francine Rivers is a Christian author who has a God-given talent for the written word. I’ve read all of her books and have never been disappointed. She has a way of writing that pulls the reader into her stories and doesn’t let go until the last word has been digested. Once I start reading I just can’t seem to put the book down, so consequently I get through the book in fairly short order. Then I feel sad that the book has ended and find myself wanting more.
Her latest book is called “Her Mother’s Hope” and is just shy of 500 pages. I started reading yesterday and am about 2/3rds of the way finished. No doubt I will be finished by tomorrow evening at this rate. This is number one in this 2 series saga with the second volume to be released in mid-September.
If you haven’t read any of her books I would highly recommend them. Some of the titles are: Redeeming Love, Atonement Child, Leota’s Garden (one of my absolute favorites), The Scarlet Thread… Well I could go on and on and sing her praises, but I will stop here.
If you are familiar with her work and have any thoughts about her writings, I’d love to hear about it. Likewise, if you have never read any of her marvelous stories and decide to pick one up, let me know what you think too.
