I find it most difficult to make sympathy cards. Yet at the same time I want the card to reflect how sorry I am for their loss and make a card that is heartfelt. I always keep the card with a simple design. This particular card was made for a dear friend of ours at the loss of his father recently. The gold you see on the edge was made using the Krylon Gold Paint Marker.
On a much lighter note, this is a card I made for our youngest daughter’s birthday. The sentiment was made using Versamark and Pearl Ex. I love using that technique because of the shimmer that is created. I enjoy adding bling to cards so I used this opportunity to add pearls for a little extra to the card. You can’t really tell on the card, but the butterfly wings are floating by layering vellum over light blue card stock.
